Hi Cj and thank you so much for including one of my paintings in your beautiful blog.
I was teaching a workshop and the model came in with her precious baby. She had been posing and the daddy was taking care of the baby. Then it was time to nurse the baby and I was totally taken by the beauty of the moment. I quickly did a small painting and took pictures, and developed it into this larger version.
Having been blessed to be a mother, I remember these moments which pass so quickly and remain with us as a faint beautiful dream. These are precious moments Mothers keep in their hearts forever. I wanted to capture this very special moment. As we all know, babies grow so quickly.
